Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Washington

Hidden tape-recording of co-worker

My mom is a custodian of the school, the lead custodian of that school has been giving her alot of greif. She yells at her and lecturers her regularly. This is not something she should be doing but their boss belives the other lady over my mom. Im wondering is it legal to obtain audio proof? Obviously this can not be done by telling her co worker what she is doing.

Washington is an all party consent to record state. It is a gross misdemeanor to record voices of people without consent, with a few exceptions, which do not appear to apply to your mother's situation. See RCW 9.73.030 through 9.73.090.
