Wills Inheritance
I have been with my husband for 10 years I have a stepdaughter he plans on leaving everything to her. I have paid on our house, property taxes etc. We have acquired a lot of things during our marriage, also life insurance policy can he legally do this to me?

I don't practice in this area, but I think that the answer is "no."
You're entitled to half of all the community property you've acquired together, along with half of his income during your marriage, etc.
If he is serious, I suggest that you talk with an attorney who specializes in this area.

You need a Washington Attorney skilled in the area of Estate Planning. You generally cannot be "disinherited" as a spouse but each state varies on what your share of the estate will be. I would recommend getting an attorney in your area to discuss your options.

WA is a community property state and a spouse cannot be disinherited. They can be divorced, but that is different.
Life insurance is not a probate asset. You have a community interest in the proceeds when he dies.
