My ex retained custody of my 13 yr. old Daughter. We were never married. He gave her back to me two years ago. He now is back with his wife & want's my daughter back. She is stable & Comforatable with me & my Husband & his daughter.I can not lose her again . please help

Assuming that you have a court ordered parenting plan in place under which your ex is the primary residential parent, I recommend that you immediately petition the court to modify the existing parenting plan on the basis that there has been a substantial change in circumstance since the initial parenting plan was entered because your daugther has been incorporated in to your family. In addition, I would move to have a temporary order entered that prohibits your ex from removing your daughter from your home. If you cannot afford an attorney, I suggest that you contact the Bar Association and ask for a referral to a pro bono (free)attorney, or you can find the forms and instructions on the Washington Courts website. Depending on which county your in the court may also have family court facilitators to help you with this process.
