Child taking

Is it legal for one parent to take a child and move out of state without the other parents knowledge? This is a legally married couple residing together, no separation, no prior knowledge and the spouse while the husband was at work, left.

If there is a court order giving you primary custody this would be considered kidnapping.

In the absence of a valid court order prohibiting such a move as you've described, there's nothing illegal about it.
