legally changing middle name of minor

I am legally aseperated, and I have a permanent order of protection against my husband. We are set to go to trial in March, and I just want to know...last names aside...my daughter has two middle names, can I legally drop one of the middle names?

Changing the name of a minor without the consent of both parents is not going to work.
