Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

my wife took my son to tennessee to visit and while she was gone divorce was brought up.....we are still married but she is still in tennessee with my son a month and half later with no intentions of coming back....can she do that legally. i am stationed in washington state.

You can file for divorce in WA, if child has been out of WA less than 6 mo WA courts still have jurisdiction over children. I'd encourage you to get moving on it.
