Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

Is the bar liable for injuries?

On April 3 2004 I was attacked at a local Seattle bar. A man in a ski mask entered the restroom I was in and attempted to rape me. The suspect was able to flee the scene and is still at large. I would like to know if the bar I was at could be held liable for the attack and if so how I go about it.

Re: Is the bar liable for injuries?

I'm afraid there is no easy answer, but it certainly sounds worth meeting with an attorney to discuss. The facts are certainly going to control the answer - was there something inherently dangerous about the layout of the bar? had anything like this happened before? atty will have lots of questions for you & should meet for free ... good luck
