Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

Infraction notice contains an error

I was cited for an off-leash violation in a seattle area park.

The officer entered my hair color as black but I have brown hair?

Re: Infraction notice contains an error

There is a concept in the law of "de minimus" the officer choosing an adjective to describe your hair that is one shade off is likely not going to persuade the judicial officer that this is a case of mistaken identification.

However, it's up to you. You can fight it on the basis of mistaken hair color, or you can call it a lesson learned.

Sounds to me like a massive waste of time and judicial energy. If you have not got a better defense than that, I would - if I was advising you which I am NOT - tell you to pay up.
