Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

I was door jambed riding in the bike lane and driver of parked car will not give me her full name or insurance info. What are my alternatives. Need to have bike replaced and E.R. bills paid.

The Department of Licensing will provide the registered owner's name and contact information if you have the license plate number.

(Another important reason to call an officer and complete an accident report if possible. However, certainly not required in order to recover from the driver.)

As you probably know, there is a Washington statute that makes motorists liable for injuries suffered by cyclists as a result of door jamming.
