Friend would like to buy 1/3 of our house

Hello,

A friend would like to pay off our house for us. In turn we will give her 1/3 ownership-the amount of the pay off is 1/3 the house value.

What paperwork do I need to complete to do this?

You woul dneed to have a deed and excise tax documents prepared along with title insurance documents. These are quite technical so you shoul dseek th eservices of a real estate attorney to help you with this situation. This is not a "do it yourself" type of transaction because any errors made now coul dbe very complicated to straighten out later.
