Power of Attorney

In the state of Washington, if a person is an inmate in a jail, do we have to get the power of attorney notarized? or can we get two wistnesses to sign it?

The power of attorney must be acknowledged by a notary. Two witnesses aren't going to make up for the lack of a notary.

If you look at Craigslist under legal services, there is often someone advertising that they are a notary and they will travel to notarize signatures.
