Wills and Beneficiaries

My Mother had several bank accounts and left my sisters beneficiaie but, in her will she want everything split 3 ways, maybe you can tell me does this over ride the will? can you tell me which is right?

My sisters also cleaned out my mothers closets the night she past away is this leagel? Thay are also wearing all her jerwlery is this ok when its all to be split?

If the bank accounts were "joint and surivivor" then they are jointly owned during the lifetime of the persons on the account, and belong to the survivor(s) upon the death of one account holder. As to all of the deceased's property not held as "joint and survivor," ownership of it will pass according to the will. The best way to deal with the situation that you have described is to make sure that the probate of the estate is conducted properly. For that, you may need legal counsel.
