Legal Question in Bankruptcy in West Virginia

years to file again

all i need to know is what is the time or date limit to which i can file again the reason being i just went through a divorce and my credit is shot and the exwife has taken everything and i can't afford nothing i recently filed last time in december of 2000 can i file again and how soon

Re: years to file again

A person is not eligible to file a Chapter 7 petition until after 6 years from the last filing. A person may file a Chapter 13 anytime.
