Legal Question in Business Law in West Virginia

Contract Law involving minors

I teach a Law for Business and Personal Use in a local high school. We are on Fundamentals of Contracts and I would like my students to research questions on the topic of Contracts of Minors for non-necessaries and necessaries. When and under what circumstances may a minor disaffirm.? Does WV permit minors to make deposits and withdrawals in banks, savings & loans as if they were adults, without any right to disaffirm the transactions? Can a minor who engages in a business or trade disaffirm agreements involving his or her business? Is there somewhere they can review the statutes and cases of WV? Any source you can direct me to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Contract Law involving minors

I am located in Pennsylvania. I suggest you contact the local or State Bar Association. They may be able to obtain a speaker. If you have a county bar association a law library may be available. There are also several free sites on the Internet. Sorry I can not be of more help.
