Legal Question in Consumer Law in West Virginia

Beauty Salon Catastrophe

I treated myself and my daughters to a something new called an airbrush tan. It gave us an instant slight bronzie look, and the owner of the beauty salon said the full tan would develop in 4 to 5 hours. We did this last night and this morning we all 3 got up with orange, splotchy, tans. I called the owner of the salon, who by the way, did the applications, and she said just to mix some bleach with water and touch it up with a q-tip and it would blend the darker spots with the rest of the tan. I was very unsatisfied with this answer and am wondering should I and do I have a right to stop payment on the $120 check I wrote to her?
