Re: deed transfer

The transfer and ownership of real estate is too important to leave to chance that a deed contains all of the elements to convey the property intended and is in a recordable form. The clerk is not permitted to give you an opinion and it could be very unpleasant and expensive to find out about a problem after it is too late for corrections. It is equally important that the purchaser of real estate have the title examened and certified. It is prudent, but not necessary, to obtain title insurance. Finally, there is no "fill in the blank" form that I know of, even though most deeds have a similiar appearance and layout.
