Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in West Virginia

Executor Changes

My mother just passed away this week. The only will found was several yrs. old and named my eldest sister as executor. My eldest brother was furious and insisted she sign it over to him. In an emotional moment she did so, but now myself and another sister as well as this eldest sister's husband all disagree that she did the right thing. Is this revocable since some of the siblings named as beneficiaries do not agree to accept and the eldest sister and her spouse after some thought are agreeing to do it? This is a very dysfunctional family and the brother really can not be trusted to do it.. Thanks.

Re: Executor Changes

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Now what you need to do immediately is get to an attorney in your area. This can get to be very complicated and it would be best for you and your siblings if you did this right away.
