NEED HELP fast!! A lawyer leasing a deseased persons building

My aunt has been dead for 4 years. The estate is not in probate because of lawyer issues. Can the lawyer lease out a piece of property that belongs in that estate. I believe this is no!. What can I do about this, as he is making money. Also, can a potential heir lease the property out to pay back taxes, preventing tax lean sale. I beleive this is yes. Thanks

More information is likely required to answer this question. The executor of the will is the one who should be doing any leasing of property which belongs to the estate in an effort to preserve the assets of the estate. If the lawyer who is allegedly doing the leasing is not the executor, then there may be serious problems which need to be resolved with this matter and I would suggest that you seek out your own attorney for advice and possible representation.
