Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
Disorderly Conduct
Can a person be issued a disorderly conduct ticket if they were not there?
A party was at our home and the police came. Since I live there (my name is not on the lease) I too was issued a disorderly conduct ticket for 360.00.
Can this be done?

Re: Disorderly Conduct
If they think that they have enough evidence to show that you engaged in conduct in a public setting which tended to cause or provoke a disturbance, or that you were party to such conduct on the part of another (meaning that you somehow assisted or otherwise accommodated it), the answer is yes.
