I had slipped and fell on ice at my work, how long do I have to be off work to get workmens comp

There is usually no set amount of time. The general rule is that if you get injured at work, then, depending on the injury, you qualify for WC. You should contact the WC administrator at work and/or the WC insurance company right way, if you haven't already.
