Legal Question in Insurance Law in Wisconsin

Automobile Insurance claims

My nephew was killed in a motorcyle accident, he was hit by an uninsured driver. The motorcylce owner had Uninsured Motorist coverage which has paid out for my nephew's funeral expenses and the remaining coverage going to his mother. My nephew had automobile insurance on his own vehicle(not involved in the accident). Can his mother claim his unpaid Medical expenses caused by the accident (in excess of $30,000) on his personal auto insurance policy? She has been told that this would be ''stacking.'' What is the meaning of ''stacking?''

Re: Automobile Insurance claims

Generally stacking means adding coverage for one policy on top of another. That certainly sounds like what is being claimed here. Without reviewing the coverage I can't tell what the correct outcome shoudl be.
