sueing a lawyer

my divorce lawyer failed to provide discovery timely and cost me thousands more money. i want to sue him for 50,000. in what court do i do that. i represent myself also reported him to wisc. bar for discipline

You would sue the lawyer in circuit court in a county that would be proper for suing the lawyer, such as the county where the lawyer's office is located. I think that you should try to find a lawyer to represent you in such a case. Successfully pursuing such a case may turn out to be more difficult than you think it will be. You will have to prove what damages you suffered as a result of the lawyer's malpractice. The time period for bringing a legal malpractice case is generally six years from the date of injury.
