Legal Question in Business Law in Wyoming

I am a senior in high school interesting in majoring in business. I would like to legally start my own LLC company to provide landscaping/lawn care service, car detail service, and home/pet sitting services. At my age and for a business just to make some money, not necessarily a living (less than 10,000) per year, until i get through college, would there be too much tax hassel or general hassel to start it?

I just need some guidance.

Thanks so much!

Cody,

Congratulations on your iniative. It would be a good idea to create a Limited Liability Company so that you can protect your personal assets. It does require some amount of paperwork, and payment of a fee to the State of Wyoming annually. It also requires an additional schedule on your tax return. It is a bit of work, but it is worth it because you and protect your personal assets from lawsuit in case something goes wrong.
