Re: expungement

The answer depends upon the nature of your conviction. Was it a juvenile conviction? Was it an adult convition? If it is a juvenile convicition, there is a specific statutory procedure for petitioning the court for expungement. If it is an adult conviction, then you must apply to the governor for a pardon. The govenor has set for pardon guidelines, which you can get from his office. As with any other question posted in this format, the best advice I can give is to get an appointment with an attorney to discuss the specifics of your case and determine if it is practical to go forward.
