My finacee is 19 and is being chraged with robbery with a concealed weapon. This is his first felony, and is more than sorry and lord knows he won't do this again. We can't afford an attorney. People keep saying he will be offered a plea bargain of boot camp or probation. Is this true can he really come home soon? Can you please help us understand what could happen?

The court will appoint the public defender to represent your friend. He should discuss all of his options with the PD. If he is a first offender, he may be eligible for release on some basis other than incarceration. Tell your friend to ask for representation by the PD's office. He needs a local criminal defense laywer.
