inheitance rights of a child
My daughter was seperated from her husband. Before he filed his girlfriend became pregnant. Before the waiting period was up, my daughter and her x had sex. This was before anyone knew the girlfriend is pregnant. Now my daught might be pregnant. Which child has the rights to any possible inheritance, the one conceived in adultry, or the one conceived before the divorce was final?

Both children have inheritance rights from the father, if he dies without a will. If the parents make a will, it depends upon what the will says. In the eyes of the law, both children are valid heirs of the father.
