You did not provide me with enough information to definitively advise if the employer violated the Family Medical Leave Act. I would need to know how many employees there are working for that particular employer and how long you have worked for this particular employer. Even if the employer took actions that would qualify as violations under the Family Medical Leave Act, it maybe inapplicable to them under the Act if certain requirements are not met.
