I have been sub leasing a room from a current tenant

who has the lease on the house. He offered me no legal

document to sign as a lease 3 months ago when i moved

in. He now wants me to leave and has been paid in

advance first and last monts rent. I need to find new

housing in a empty market. Can he evict me or can I

remain one more month using my deposit. I have been

current with all my utilities and rent t

Re: Renters Rights

By the facts of your post you are a month-to-month tenant under WY law and thus entitled to 30 days written notice of the termination of your tenancy. You don't legally have to move until 30 days following receipt of the notice.

You are also entitled to a return of your deposits or an accounting for any deductions within 30 days following your vacancy of the premises.
