Re: use of profanity

The use of profanity, in an of itself, does not constitute sexual harassment. Harrassment must be based upon sex. So, ususally, without anything more, the conduct you describe does not amount to actionable sexual harassment, although it is distasteful. On the other hand, the conduct you describe may be classified as sexual harassment if it is coupled with other conduct that tends to indicate a hostile work environment or a quid pro quo invitation for sexual favors.
