iwas appointed an heir to property in 1986when my fathers died when i turned into a major my mother who is my guardian refuse to change the name of the propert to my name however she chased me from the property now she is sueing me to pay for the bills of that house yet i feel she has no legal status to be able to sue me how does that work

1.how was the property left in your name?

2.is there a will?

3.Which bills are you being asked to pay.

the law is that in the absence of a will the immovable property Goes to the surviving spouse.The estate of the deceased must be registered and the property distributed as approved by the master of the High Court of Zimbabwe.I recommend that you visit the office of the master of the high court of Zimbabwe for further assistance,or Get a lawyer.
