We work on a contingency basis for MOST collection matters and reserve the right to charge an hourly fee against a retainer for NON-collection matters (litigated matters), counterclaims, and "complex" claims. Examples of complex claims include multi-party defendants and cases where it appears clear that the matter will be agressively defended.
