I need a Legal heir certificate, where can i apply for it, I stay in badlapur, thane.

You can obtain "legal Heir certificate" from Thesildar office.Once you got the legal heir certificate you can apply for registration of property in your name in Sub-divisional office. Provided there shall not be any objection, if some body or other legal heir object then registration will be stopped and you have to file title suit for the said property.
