Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Sir , i have all my document ie ration card , voter id of the address of UP (saharanpur). But from last three year i am living in roorkee (uttrakhand). Now problem is that i can't make my cast certificate as well as permanent certificate from roorkee . Because according to uttrakhand govt a residency before or on 1985 can only make cast and permanent certificate from uttrakhand .

SO please tell me that to live in uttrakhand would end my permanent citizenship of up . or i am now would be the citizen of up .. please suggest me i am in great trouble..

Dear Sir / Madam,

Caste discrimination of any form or nature is illegal and a criminal offence. Caste certificates have long since been abolished. As an Indian citizen, it remains your fundamental right to live and stay in any village, town, city, State / Union Territory of India as you so please. All the documentary evidence you have is sufficient for all purposes in Uttarakhand, and you do not need any separate caste or permanent certificate from Roorkee to live and stay in Uttarakhand.

Regards,
