Use of a .ORG domain name

Are commercial organisations allowed to use the .ORG domain? This question specifically applies to a commercial organisation who is the registered owner of the site.

Re: Use of a .ORG domain name

There are no longer any restrictions on who can register and use .com, .org, and .net domain names. Originally there were, but they proved unworkable in practivce and were essentially abandoned several years ago.
