A 306/498A/34 case has registered on the basis of FIR done by my father in law against nobody. Now my in laws has submitted affidavit stating us innocent and they don't want to proceed in the case further. CS filed in district court.Though trial yet to start. Can this case be quashed in high court if my in laws will present before HC and state that we are innocent.

Your Kind reply is solicited.

in case your in laws are ready to support the quashing, the case may be quashed by intervention of the high court.

The police is likely to file a report u/s 173 of Cr. P. C. If you are not satisfied with that report, you may file a protest petition.
