Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I m frequent trekker & climber. Is it legal to carry a knife in India? If yes its size/blade length restriction? I am currently using 'VICTORINOX SWISS KNIFE' pocket size. But it is not sufficient in high density forest.

In India there is no ban by Central Government on carrying a knife or even a sword, unless specifically banned by the State Government for any particular area or event/day.
It may be better for you to contact the office of concerned District Magistrate for current information on the subject.
