Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Sir my case is 302 ipc but they compromised with me.chargesheet not filled in court. Iam in bail. Can we solve this case in lok adalat or any compromise petition? Plz help me

Query already answered.. However I must state FIR may get quashed but acquittal by Lok Adalat not digestible. Any way we will try for compromise and then move for quashing

Court or Lok Adalat has no power to compound the offence of 302 IPC. One option is that if charge sheet is not filed, then let the IO after recording the statement of parties, may file closure report before the court. Then the court will issue notice to the complainant and before whom the complainant may confirm the statement, Other option is to file writ petition or petition u/s 482 Cr p c for quashing of FIR
