Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Dear sir , i have divorced my wife, i am ready to return her dower and dowry articles and i also sent her a legal notice with list of dowry articles but she is not ready to get back her and refusing this, this has created me in emotional blackmailing , i am planing for 2nd marriage, please let me know , can file a suit in any court for returning her dowry articles, my lawyer say you can not file becaaz your are husband this is wife's right, i am totally distribes plzzzz guide me what i do?

Dear simple solution is to file a suit for jactitation of marrige before family court for declaration that she is no more your wifr and she refused to rect anf accept .

Earlier advice to you was totally wrong.

You are entitled to file being husband.

make an application before the family judge to pass the direction to your ex-wife to take back her dowery articles.
