Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

I am Richa got married in 2006 in Jaipur and I have one daughter of 5 yrs my husband took my gold and ran away and send me divorce notice and now we are separated from last one and half years and my my family residing in Bangalore so I came here. As I have small kid it's not easy to go to Jaipur on dates. I want to transfer the case from Jaipur to Bangalore. As he don't want give any compensation for me and my daughter.

Please advice me the best solution

1. You are entitled to file divorce case in Bangalore.

2. If a divorce case has been filed by him in Jaipur, you may seek transfer of the case to Bangalore.

3. You may also institute proceedings at Bangalore for (a) guardianship of your daughter; (b) reliefs under Domestic Violence Act; and (c) maintenance / child support.; (d) return of your gold / istridhan.

You can transfer the cases pending in Jaipur to Bangalore simply by filing a transfer petition in thecSupreme Court of India. You can retain services and the same can be done even without you visiting New Delhi.

dear client u have to file transfer petition in supreme court to transfer divorce case from Jaipur to Bangalore. u can file police case for stoling yr gold against husband with police. u can also file domestic violence case to recover gold from husband in Bangalore. u can ask maintenance for u and daughter by filling petition under sec 125 of criminal procedure. for any legal help call me on 9422611385
