hi. i got married in Maronite church 1 year ago. i have a 1 year old girl.. my husband takes steroids which makes him very angry and makes him hit me. what are the steps that i should do to protect myself! i cannot live with him anymore!

Your email is not very clear: our understanding is that your husband is being violant to you.
If that is the case, you need to do the following:
1. Inform the nearest police station.
2. Get a Court injuction to forbid him to aporoach you for a period of time, for domestic violance reason.
3. This kind of violance does not lead particularly to a divorce under the Maronite Church rules. But this need to be discussed. You will keep the custody of your kid in anyway.
