Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi
I am a married woman but only in front of society. I started living with my husband family 5 years ago and i have a daughter. But we are not legally wedded or with any hindu rituals. We dont have any proof of our marriage.
My question is that i dont want to live with my so called husband anymore so kindly tell me what will be the legal situation if i get married properly to anyone ????

Since you also have a child with this man, the relationship is just equivalent of marriage. An appropriate opinion may depend upon his and your emotions towards the child; as also on alimony.
If you do not remarry, you may have legal rights of alimony from your husband [or child's father] in view of latest law.
