Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Sir i had a property and my brothers name was also there in agreement he filed a case and he won so we did a settlement and we are paying him the money i want to ask that if i get certified copy of settlement from court than i will not have any problem in selling this property without removing his name or should i remove his name from agreement

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since your brother has acquired rights over the property, you need his consent to initiate any further action. You may get the certified settlement from the Court, but you will unnecessarily complicating matters for yourself attempting to forcefully sell a property which is not solely owned by you.

There is a legal procedure in such case which you should have to follow, after then you can sell it freely.
