Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi I am a previous employee of Simplilearn solutions Pvt Ltd and i resigned for some reasons and i was ready to serve my notice period but they told me no need to serve and i will be paid for the same but it is not so. but i have copy of my resignation letter in that they approved for serving the notice period. So can i do anything so i can get my notice period pay.?

have they given you in writing that the notice period will be waived off and you will get the pay for that period if yes you can claim it from them if no then you will have to forgo the amount as written agreements prevail over verbal commitments.
