Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
We have a family dispute over the purchase of an appartment which was purchased 10 years ago. We have all related documents of purchase but we do not have a detailed bank statments - from which the payments were made.
Can i request the bank for 10years back statments? what is the procedure? Please advice?

Dear Sir / Madam,
You can submit an application to the concerned Bank from which the payments were made to retrieve its archived data and furnish the printout of the Bank Statement for the past 10 years by paying the prevailing Bank Charges thereto. It should be possible since all banking operations were computerized more than 20 years ago.
