If your landlord refuse to receive the agreed rent or to refuse to issue receipt, send the rent through postal money order. If he refuses to receive the said money order, send a notice to him asking his bank to remit the rent. If he fails , move the concerned Civil court/ Rent controller to deposit the rent in to court. Thereby you will avoid the default in payment of rent which is a ground for eviction under law.------------------- Nellai v Kannan [email protected]
