hello sir i want to ask a question relating to our house property it is registered in the name of my parents both mother nd father now my father is a drinker nd drinks a lont nd now saying that he will sell the house nd take it away from us nd we don't have any other property jst one house i want to save it at any cost pls tell me how can i stop him nd change his part of ownership to my mothers nd sister name the part of my father which is his part there is no mention in the sale deed about there share in the property nd my mother is still alive pls help me urgently waiting for ur reply sir

Dear Sir / Madam,

Since the house property is registered in the name of your father and mother, so even if your father actually intends to put his thoughts to action (which is quite unlikely), the Purchaser will have to be persuaded to insist that both their signatures will be required on the Sale Agreement. You cannot change your father's joint ownership without his approval and consent. If you say that your father's name is not mentioned in the Sale Agreement of your purchase of the house property and it is in your mother's name, there is no way in which your father can ever sell the house property.
