Good day,
What is the commission for the executor of the will in T&T?
Is that automatic or does a petition or some sort of filing have to take place for it to be honored?

An executor is not entitled to benefit from a will. He/She is entitled to deduct all reasonable expenses associated with the probate of the will and the distribution of the estate. The Executor can renounce taking probate and allow one of the beneficiaries to probate the will.
