Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama

Walmart Lawsuit?

Walmart is reporting a bad check in check systems my husband wrote over 10 years ago. My name was Not on the account either.

Now Walmart is reporting ME saying I wrote a Bad Check that I never wrote and they cannot produce a bad check with My Name and signature on it. And they are Falsely reporting me.

Last year when I tried to write a check at walmart, using a checking account that had my name and my Sons name on it, walmart asked to see my Drivers License, then they told me I had a Bad check that I needed to Pay. Which is Not True!

This is all False. I would like to see Proof of this Bad check I am accused of writing and the Date it happened. But they cannot produce it because It Never Happened! Yet they still Falsely Report, causing me trouble.

I want to File a Lawsuit. Do I have a Case? Is this Legal?

Email me please.Thank You for your time.

Re: Walmart Lawsuit?

There are credit reports that only cover your check writing history. If Wal-Mart is falsely reporting this check or if the credit reporting agencies are falsely reporting it, then you can dispute it under federal law and then if it is not corrected you may be able to sue.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss your credit reports related to this check.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this but if this is not your check it should not remain a problem for you after you dispute and possibly sue over this.
