Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

hi my name is Jack Vassas I just want to know what can I do if a payday loan place calls me and say if you do not pay off the loan we will put you in jail but the payday loan haved been paid off before this happen what can I do

They cannot threaten criminal action to collect a debt. It can be a violation of various state and federal laws, especially if you didn't owe it.
