Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

My 14 year old daughter is pregnant, what are my rights as her mother? ex. birthcertificate and fathers name things like that.

Could be statutory rape depending on the age of the father. Your daughter is more than likely unable to care for the child and you should probably file a dependency petition in order that you can obtain custody. The father's name should not go on the birth certificate unless he signs a statement of paternity. Still he has no rights if he is not married to her unless he goes to court and asks for legal paternity thru a DNA test and then he will more than likely have to pay child support. Again, could be statutory rape.
